12/7/08- OK Computers...
It's been a long while, but everything is back to normal. Let me assure you, Echopainter has
NOT been lying dormant. Just a few computer glitches prevented the site from being updated
for a bit. Okay, a long bit. But in that time frame, we've been in pre-production for multiple
projects. Announcements are upcoming, including a few big projects. Stay tuned.
8/23/08- Starting the Engines...
Just a quick note to everyone to checked out the site immediately after the launch of Basis,
thank you for everything. I can't tell you how much it means.
That said, there will be a few announcements in the coming days. Some Basis related, and
some regarding the future (new film perhaps?). It's going to be exciting, but we're going to
need a huge amount of support. Remember that the Echopainter myspace is in full swing
(www.myspace.com/echopainter), and the new mailing list is up on the community page, so I
encourage everyone to check those out as well, and continue to spread the EP word.
Hold on tight, because this is gonna be a fun ride.
7/15/08- Basis Launch
I'm excited and pleased to say that after exactly 7 months after the shooting of the film (wow),
the Basis saga is now finished. It was long road, riddled with problems, but that's life, and
now we have a finished film. (and for those that don't know, you can read about the life of the
film in the Basis Press Kit, available on the Basis page on this site). So, yeah. It's out, it's been
shipped, and it's available to view on this site through the film portal above. Watch it, tell your
friends to watch it, and spread it all you can.
Finally, thank you to everyone. Thank you to everyone that was in the film, helped make the
film, watched the film, or told someone about the film. Word of mouth means everything. This
isn't Hollywood. This isn't some grand stage we're preaching on. We're here to make people
think, and we're here to entertain. Hopefully we can do that.

After a quiet launch in June and a small, much needed vacation, I'm pleased to say that
Echopainter is here. It's beyond exciting, because this is something that's going to be
building for years and years. Now, it's time to get the word out there. Basis releases in two
days, and when it does, spread it all to your friends! Tell everyone about the site, get people
involved. Explore a little while you're here, because the site is growing every day. We're
moving into an exciting time. A lot is on its way in the next year, and the only way to get the
newest info is right here on echopainter.com!

Welcome to Echopainter. This is my labor of love, my life. It's film, writing, photography,
everything in the video world. It's me. And I hope you like it.

Attention all,
If, for some reason you've found your way here already, I'd first like to say thank you. The
second thing is very exciting. This site, and Echopainter as a whole, will launch on June 5th,
2008, only to be followed by the Basis release on July 15th, 2008. This site will be getting a lot
of content in the next few days/weeks, so be prepared! This is only the beginning...
