6/18/09-Phoenix Rising

Wecome to year two of Echopainter. This place is getting bigger and better. First off,
we just passed our one year anniversary (June 5th). A great year of looking at life
through a lens. And things are only heating up. Thanks to everyone that has helped
anything Echopainter has done. This year has been the biggest of my life, and it's
been an amazing experience working with everyone.

Also, you may have noticed that the site looks a bit different. Okay, much different. It's
gone through a ground-up overhaul, making things easier to find and getting you
where you want to be faster. Hope everyone likes it.

Back to the editing bays. Thanks everyone. Can't wait to show off "Faint by Numbers"
soon. Keep checking in, and keeping watching those videos!

5/29/09- Light at the end

4 long months of production. 5 months before that of pre-production. 2 months of
editing still to come and two years later. Faint by Numbers has wrapped production.
We're entering post-production proper on monday. More will be available soon.

4/7/09- Going Strong

Reporting back in after quite a while of being drenched in production, I'm happy to say
we're about 80% done filming "Faint by Numbers". There's two full production days
left, with a few pickup shots, and in a few weeks, I'll be in the editing bays, trying to
crank out a rough cut.

There's been a lot of behind the scenes footage shot, and quite a lot of set photos, so
there's gonna be a lot going up on this site in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, I've posted a short that was shot back in December that I edited and
DP'd. It's a fanfilm based on the "Peanuts" universe, so check it out. It's up in the
editing section. It's called "It's a Live Action, Charlie Brown!" (get it?!).

1/3/09- "Faint by Numbers"

A new year, indeed. Echopainter is about to begin its biggest undertaking ever, a
brand new short film entitled "Faint by Numbers". It chronicles a stuck-in-a-rut twenty
something, who is at the point of a complete emotional breakdown, on a crazy, eye
opening weekend after being saved from a near death situation by a random stranger.

We've been in preproduction for nearly 3 months, and I've literally been talking about
this film for the past year and a half. So this is exciting. This is what Echopainter was
built on. We're already cast, and excited to have some really fantastic actors and
actresses on board. I'm
going to be updating the page as much as possible, bringing you the news directly
from the set, if we all don't pass out first.

So fasten your seatbelts. This isn't the only project in the works. This is starting the
year off with a bang. You ain't seen nothing yet. This is 2009. This is Echopainter.
